Buttercup Leaf Cotton Print Fabric

Misc Fabric

Buttercup Leaf combines a muted olive-green ground with closely spaced ivory leaf motifs. The fine vertical texture visible across the surface gives this colourway a softly tactile, gently weathered appearance.

About this fabric

This Andrew Martin cotton print fabric is coloured in a subdued olive green, sitting between soft sage and moss rather than a bright botanical green. Small ivory-white leaf sprigs repeat in neat vertical rows, creating a delicate all-over pattern with clear rhythm at close range. Subtle vertical striations show through the ground, adding depth without overpowering the pale motif. As a cotton print fabric, it brings a relaxed, traditionally botanical character to the design.

How to use it

Use this olive-green colourway on a relaxed armchair, Roman blind or pair of curtains, balancing its ivory leaf detail with oatmeal linen, warm cream and natural timber.

Use the muted olive-green ground with warm neutrals, natural wood and softly aged brass.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Buttercup Leaf Cotton Print Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
