Solare Nero

Lusso 2 FabricCCF0362-05

Solare Nero pairs a warm ivory-beige ground with repeated charcoal-grey bands that meander vertically into tall, irregular loops. The softly feathered edges of the motif reveal the texture of the woven surface.

About this fabric

The design is formed from dark, undulating ribbons set against a light neutral ground, with each band showing a broken, tactile edge rather than a perfectly sharp outline. At 356gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery applications. It has a 137.5cm usable width, with a 28.2cm vertical repeat and 23.1cm horizontal repeat to consider when matching the looping pattern. The charcoal tone reads softer than solid black against the warm ivory background, giving the colourway depth without making the overall cloth feel stark.

How to use it

Use Solare Nero on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where the charcoal loops can run vertically and become the main graphic detail. Balance its warm ivory base with walnut, smoked oak, aged brass and similarly softened neutrals.

Pair the warm ivory ground and charcoal wave motif with dark timber, blackened metal or softly contrasting neutral upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Solare Nero without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
