About this carpet
Hardwick is a Wool Loop carpet with a compact, textured construction visible throughout the swatch. Its taupe-grey colouring combines warm beige and subdued grey notes, creating gentle depth rather than a flat single shade. Small variations in the loops catch the light unevenly, producing the softly flecked vertical texture seen across the surface. The overall effect is muted and relaxed, with enough tonal movement to sit comfortably alongside natural, understated finishes.
How to use it
Use this warm taupe-grey colourway to bring quiet texture to a neutral room, particularly alongside oatmeal, stone, soft white or weathered timber tones. Its restrained mottling can also help soften a scheme built around cooler greys.
A dense wool loop with softly mottled taupe-grey texture and a relaxed, tactile character.

Pairs well with
Hardwick is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
