About this fabric

The Piombo colourway reads as a soft, cool grey, with ash and graphite-like threads creating subtle variation across the surface. Fine horizontal lines travel through the cloth in uneven bands, giving the plain ground a lightly weathered character. Its texture is understated and linear, with the darker threads appearing and receding as the light moves across the swatch. This fabric is catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no additional composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied.

How to use it

Use this cool stone-grey colourway to bring quiet structure to a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or relaxed curtain. Pair it with pale woods, charcoal accents and other softly textured neutrals to echo its layered grey striation.

A quietly tailored grey with fine horizontal texture for upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
