About this colour
At #C09F66, Bassoon reads as a warm, slightly browned yellow that brings weight as well as light to a wall. It reflects enough light to keep a room feeling open, but its earthier base stops it from looking sharp or sugary. In north-facing rooms it can take on a deeper, more muted mustard note, while in south-facing light the golden side comes forward and it feels fuller and warmer.
