Balance Anthracite

Tate Fabric

Balance Anthracite presents a cool anthracite-grey ground with a compact, finely grained weave. Tiny interlaced marks create a quiet, even surface rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

Seen close up, this Tate colourway has a deep charcoal-grey tone with subtle lighter and darker shifts across the woven surface. The fine, closely packed texture gives the cloth a neat, structured appearance and a restrained contemporary mood. No composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool anthracite tone on a tailored chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, where its small-scale woven texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with pale stone, chalky grey or warm timber to soften the depth of the colour.

The compact, structured weave and deep anthracite tone suit tailored upholstery in contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
