Emett Thunder

Orly Fabric

Emett Thunder is a cool charcoal-grey textile with a closely woven herringbone pattern visible across its surface. Fine flecks of lighter grey soften the depth of the shade without disturbing its tailored appearance.

About this fabric

The small-scale herringbone is formed by tightly alternating chevrons, giving the fabric a subtle directional rhythm rather than a bold motif. Its charcoal ground reads deep and smoky, while the lighter threads catch the light along the woven ridges. Catalogued as a fabric, this closely textured weave has the visual structure suited to upholstery. The restrained contrast keeps the pattern refined and easy to read across a larger upholstered form.

How to use it

Use Emett Thunder on a contemporary sofa, dining chair or footstool where its cool charcoal tone can anchor softer grey, stone and pale timber tones. Set it against warm wood or brushed metal to bring out the fine light-and-dark movement in the herringbone.

A cool charcoal-grey herringbone with a tailored, quietly textured finish for structured upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
