Kelby Shadow

Orly Fabric

Kelby Shadow is a deep charcoal-grey textile with a quietly varied woven surface. Fine vertical striations and pale flecks create subtle movement across the swatch without forming a bold motif.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense-looking, small-scale weave in layered charcoal and soft grey tones, giving the surface a gently heathered appearance. Narrow vertical lines run through the cloth, while tiny contrasting threads catch the light and prevent the colour from reading as flat black. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric. Its balanced visual weight makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery, subject to project-specific testing and construction requirements.

How to use it

Use Kelby Shadow to bring cool, tailored depth to a sofa, occasional chair or curtain, especially alongside pale stone, chalky wood and brushed metal. Its softly flecked charcoal surface can also anchor a tonal grey scheme without introducing a strong pattern.

The charcoal-grey tone and fine woven texture bring understated depth to upholstery, cushions or softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
