About this fabric
The pale silica ground sits between ivory and light beige, with the slightly darker woven motif adding gentle definition without a strong contrast. Across the swatch, the pattern forms small, irregular maze-like loops and bends, giving the cloth a subtly graphic character. The weave has a softly nubby, tactile appearance, while the folded areas show how the light shifts across its surface and picks out the raised texture. The restrained colour and small-scale drawing make this a considered choice for upholstery where texture matters as much as pattern.
How to use it
Use Mikumi Silica on an armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its warm ivory-beige tone can soften darker timber and stone. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural linens and brushed metal for a calm, quietly tailored scheme.
The warm ivory-beige ground and finely traced motif bring quiet pattern and tactile depth to upholstered pieces.
Pairs well with
Mikumi Silica is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
