Mattinata Grey/Silver Trim

Misc Fabric

Mattinata Grey/Silver Trim combines a cool pale-grey ground with a silver-toned sheen that shifts gently across its loose fringe. The repeated looped heading gives this narrow textile trim a neat, crafted edge.

About this fabric

The trim is shown in a muted grey-silver shade, with fine reflective strands catching the light among the softer matte fibres. Its upper edge is formed from closely repeated loops, while the lower fringe falls in uneven, tactile lengths for a relaxed finish. The contrast between the ordered heading and loose ends gives the piece both structure and movement. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool grey-silver trim against charcoal, stone or soft white upholstery where its subtle sheen can outline a cushion, pelmet or upholstered border without introducing a strong colour contrast.

Use the pale grey-silver fringe to edge upholstered pieces or add a refined finish to cushions and pelmets.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
