Fairmont Natural

Fairmont FabricCCF0041-02

Fairmont Natural pairs a warm, softly shaded cream ground with an almost-white scrolling floral damask. The tonal contrast is gentle, allowing the curling leaves and central floral forms to emerge through texture rather than strong colour.

About this fabric

At 479 gsm, this is a substantial textile with the visual presence expected of an upholstery fabric. The close natural-coloured ground has a fine, subtly irregular woven texture, while the pale motif catches the light across the surface. Its repeating damask measures 51.7 cm vertically by 34.4 cm horizontally, giving the ornamental pattern a considered medium scale. The usable width is 137 cm, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use Fairmont Natural on a traditional armchair, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its warm cream tone can soften darker timber and painted furniture. Pair it with linen, chalky neutrals and light wood to keep the room calm while preserving the formality of the scrolling design.

A substantial cream damask with softly raised pale motifs, suited to classic upholstery where its quiet tonal detail can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
