About this fabric

Swedish Tree Old Pink from the Leonora collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a generous repeat of approximately V 89cm / H 136cm and an overall width of approximately 136cm. The composition of 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester gives the cloth a natural, slightly dry look with enough body for either curtains or lighter upholstery use. In this colourway, the ground reads as a muted old rose with a powdery cast, while the botanical motif is picked out in a pale cream that sits softly on the surface. The large-scale trailing branches and blossoms feel refined rather than bold, with the woven texture helping the pink tone stay calm and airy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want a feminine but restrained colour note, such as an armchair, valance or relaxed curtains. It works especially well with limestone, aged brass and painted timber in warm off-whites.

Pair with warm neutrals and pale wood to keep the vintage pink feeling light and elegant.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Swedish Tree Old Pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
