Albany Raspberry is a richly coloured woven textile with a deep raspberry-red ground and a softly irregular crosshatched surface. Fine lighter and darker threads give the swatch a layered, tactile appearance rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This 517gsm fabric has a substantial woven presence, with visible horizontal and vertical yarn variation creating a gently slubbed, linen-like texture. The raspberry shade reads as saturated but softened, with pale thread crossings catching the light across the surface and adding depth to the red-pink tone. It has a 139cm usable width and a standard length of 40m. With 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, the irregular texture can be positioned without matching a repeating design.

How to use it

Use Albany Raspberry on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep red-pink tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutrals to let the woven crosshatch texture add depth without introducing a separate motif.

Use this deep raspberry woven texture to bring saturated colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
