Albany Spice
Albany and Moray FabricCCF0234-29
Albany Spice has a warm terracotta-red ground with a finely crosshatched surface, giving the colour a softly varied, tactile appearance. Pale threads catch across the weave, tempering the depth of the spice tone.

About this fabric
This substantial woven textile weighs 517 gsm, and its close, irregular yarn structure is clearly visible across the swatch. The warm spice-red colour sits between terracotta and muted brick, while fine lighter threads create delicate horizontal and vertical striations rather than a defined motif. With a 139 cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstery applications where this dense texture can be appreciated at close range. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so the surface has no measurable repeating design to match.
How to use it
Use Albany Spice on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat to introduce a grounded terracotta accent. Its muted red warmth works particularly well alongside cream, aged timber and natural woven textures.
Use this warm spice-red weave to bring depth and tactile interest to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Albany Spice is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
