Loire Rust

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Rust is a warm, earthy plain with a dry linen-cotton look and a softly woven surface. Its rust-brown colour reads settled and grounded, with enough depth to feel inviting rather than bright.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Rust has the natural texture and relaxed handle you expect from a smart plain in the Verona Collection. The 142cm width and 18,000 rub test make it a practical choice for light domestic upholstery, drapes and blinds. In this colourway, the cloth sits in a muted rust brown with terracotta warmth, showing a slightly heathered look where the weave catches the light. The overall finish feels matte and understated, so the colour can anchor a scheme without overpowering it.

How to use it

Use Loire Rust on an accent chair, bench or tailored Roman blind where its warm brown-red tone can add depth. It pairs neatly with clay, tobacco, oatmeal and aged brass for a quietly layered room.

A warm rust tone that brings quiet depth to both tailored upholstery and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
