About this fabric

This 490gsm Clarke & Clarke indoor-outdoor weave has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery textile, while its rust-orange and ivory contrast keeps the overall effect energetic and warm. The irregular stepped motif repeats every 25cm vertically and 36cm horizontally, creating a busy but clearly structured surface. It is supplied at a 140cm usable width, with a standard length of 40m. Close up, the small flecks and raised-looking woven detail temper the brightness of the orange, giving the pattern a tactile, slightly softened finish.

How to use it

Use the warm rust-orange ground as a focal colour on outdoor seating, dining chairs or cushions, then balance it with ivory, sand and natural timber. Its graphic repeat also suits a single statement chair where the geometric detail can be seen clearly.
