Moray Spice

Albany and Moray FabricCCF0293-29

Moray Spice brings a warm, earthy terracotta tone to the Albany and Moray collection. Its woven surface is finely flecked with lighter yarns, creating gentle variation across the colourway rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This substantial 509gsm woven fabric has a muted spice-red base with pale, closely worked flecks and fine vertical slub lines visible across the surface. The textured weave gives the terracotta shade a softly weathered depth, with the lighter yarns catching the eye without making the colour feel bright or saturated. With a 139cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstery projects where this warm, grounded colour can add character to seating and occasional furniture. The 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the cloth straightforward to position without motif matching.

How to use it

Use Moray Spice on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard to introduce a mellow terracotta accent against warm neutrals, aged timber and natural woven textures. Its subtle pale flecking also helps it sit comfortably alongside cream, taupe and muted olive shades.

Use this warm, muted spice tone to bring depth to upholstered seating while keeping the room softly grounded.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
