Brodsworth Burnt Orange

Brodsworth Fabric

Brodsworth Burnt Orange pairs a bold leaf repeat with a warm, autumn-toned palette. The woven ground gives the design a textured, lightly rustic feel that suits the pattern well.

About this fabric

Brodsworth Burnt Orange is a fabric from Fryett's Fabrics in a 73% polyester, 27% cotton mix, with a 145cm width and a 41.7cm vertical by 35cm horizontal pattern repeat. The swatch shows tall botanical leaves in burnt orange, copper and rust, with plum and deep berry accents cutting through the design. Its creamy neutral ground keeps the palette bright enough to lift the darker tones, while the visible weave adds a tactile, slightly dry surface rather than a glossy finish. The overall effect is warm and characterful, with enough contrast in the repeat to read clearly on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, occasional sofa or bench where the vertical leaf motif can run cleanly down the upholstery. The burnt orange ground works especially well with walnut, oak and muted green accents.

Warm terracotta leaves with plum accents give this woven a lively, autumnal look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Brodsworth Burnt Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
