Marldon Brick Red

Albeck FabricF3701-20

Marldon Brick Red is a tightly woven colourway with a fine, peppered surface and a warm terracotta-red tone. The small-scale weave gives the swatch a softly mottled look rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

This Albeck fabric is 145cm wide and composed of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester, with no repeat to interrupt the surface pattern. The weave reads as compact and tactile, with tiny flecks of cream and deeper rust breaking up the brick-red ground. That mix creates a gently weathered effect, so the colour feels earthy and inviting rather than bright or glossy. Its balanced content and mid-weight appearance make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a textured, lived-in red is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining seat or cushions to bring warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and soft neutrals, where the brick tone can sit as a grounded accent.

A warm woven red that brings depth and easy texture to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
