About this fabric

This colourway sits in a muted grey-beige register, with enough warmth to soften the shade and enough depth in the weave to keep it from looking flat. The fabric is supplied as a 145cm approx wide textile, with no vertical or horizontal repeat, which makes it especially straightforward for tailored schemes. Its composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester gives the cloth a refined matte handle with a lightly textural, woven finish. With no performance features noted, it presents as a decorative upholstery and drapery fabric suited to calm, elegant interiors.

How to use it

Use Marldon Grey for pared-back curtains, roman blinds or upholstery where you want a neutral that still has texture. The soft warm cast sits particularly well with pale oak, stone, chalk whites and brushed metal finishes.

A quietly versatile grey that softens a room without feeling flat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
