Macy Grey

Boscombe FabricJ0139-03

Macy Grey shows Boscombe’s fine geometric pattern in a soft, warm grey that reads quietly tailored and easy to live with. The tiny repeat gives the surface a subtle, textural rhythm rather than a bold contrast.

About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is supplied at approximately 140cm wide and has a very small repeat of V 1cm / H 1cm, creating a neat, almost micro-checked geometric effect across the cloth. The composition — 41% Acrylic, 38% Polyester, 15% Viscose and 6% Linen — helps explain the fabric’s crisp, slightly dry handle and the softly woven look visible in the swatch. Macy Grey sits in a muted stone-grey register with a faint warmth, so the pattern is present without feeling high contrast. It feels refined rather than decorative, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code plus K fire code make it a practical choice for interiors that need both style and specification.

How to use it

Use this soft grey on a clean-lined armchair, banquette or cushion to add texture without introducing strong colour. It also pairs neatly with pale woods, chalky neutrals and deeper graphite accents.

A restrained neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
