Macy Red

Boscombe FabricJ0139-05

Macy Red shows a fine, all-over geometric pattern in a muted brick red with softer rose and terracotta undertones. The small repeat gives it a tidy, tailored look that reads textured rather than busy.

About this fabric

This Boscombe fabric by Jane Churchill is supplied at approximately 140cm wide and uses a balanced composition of 41% Acrylic, 38% Polyester, 15% Viscose and 6% Linen. The visible design is a compact diamond lattice, worked in tiny tonal motifs that create a lively surface without high contrast. In this colourway, the red is softened into a dusty, earthy brick tone, so the pattern feels warm and settled rather than bright. The close repeat of V 1cm / H 1cm approx keeps the scale intimate, which suits furniture that needs detail at close range. With its Q 8 + T 3 care code and K fire code, it is a practical choice for upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use Macy Red on a statement armchair, banquette or ottoman where its small pattern can add depth without overpowering the room. It works especially well with oatmeal linen, aged brass and walnut finishes, letting the muted red bring warmth to a scheme.

Pairs neatly with warm neutrals and dark timber for a tailored, settled look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
