Robin Aqua

Boscombe FabricJ0135-02

Robin Aqua is a quietly tonal plain with a soft aqua cast and a fine woven texture that reads calm and light. The close herringbone-like grain gives the surface a subtle movement without breaking the overall simplicity.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a very pale aqua-blue range, softened almost to a watery pastel with a cool, airy feel. The weave is delicate and closely worked, with the tiny diagonal texture visible across the whole surface, giving the cloth a refined finish rather than a flat solid appearance. At approximately 142cm wide and woven in 52% viscose, 36% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester, it offers a versatile handle suited to both tailored upholstery and lighter soft furnishing projects. The repeat is small at approximately V 1cm / H 2cm, so the texture stays understated and easy to live with. The overall effect is fresh and restrained, with just enough sheen in the yarns to lift the pale aqua tone.

How to use it

Use Robin Aqua to soften painted woodwork, slim armchairs or relaxed curtains where a cool, faded-blue note is wanted. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and gentle grey-green accents.

A fresh pale aqua that keeps rooms feeling light and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
