About this fabric

This Cabrera Stripes fabric from Jane Churchill has a slim horizontal repeat of approximately 3cm and a width of approximately 141cm, making the stripe feel precise and evenly paced across the cloth. The composition is 64% Cotton, 21% Acrylic, 12% Viscose, 2% Linen and 1% Polyamide, which helps give the surface its slightly textured, woven hand. In this colourway, the indigo threads sit as a muted blue-grey base, while the copper bands bring a warm blush-gold note that softens the overall effect. The result is smart rather than bold, with enough contrast to register clearly without looking harsh. Performance features are not noted, so it is best chosen for decorative schemes where the stripe itself is the focus.

How to use it

Use it on tailored blinds, bench cushions or a compact armchair where the narrow stripe can run cleanly and the warm-cool balance is visible. It works especially well with chalk white paint, weathered oak and pale blue-greys.

A neat stripe that pairs the cool indigo ground with a warm copper accent for easy tailoring.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
