Alchemy Indigo

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy Indigo reads as a deep, shadowy blue with a subtle sheen that catches across the folds of the cloth. The close weave gives the surface a smooth, refined look rather than a heavy textured finish.

About this fabric

This colourway is a strong indigo blue, with darker navy shadows and a slightly lighter blue lift where the light hits the folds. Made from 56% cotton and 44% polyester, it has a balanced handle that suits everyday interior use, and the 140cm width makes it practical for both larger upholstery pieces and soft furnishings. With a pattern repeat of 0cm, the surface reads as a clean, uninterrupted plain, letting the depth of colour do the work. The finish shown here feels smart and composed, with enough body to hold its shape while still showing a fluid drape in the image. Care instructions: BQV1<.

How to use it

Use this indigo alongside pale linen, walnut, or brushed metal for a crisp, tailored scheme. It also works well as a grounding accent against warmer neutrals, where the blue reads especially deep and moody.

A rich dark blue that adds depth without feeling harsh; pair with warm woods or crisp neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
