Jerome Blue
Valentina Velvets P/B VelvetF4013-02
Jerome Blue shows a pale, airy ground crossed with narrow zigzag bands in faded denim and slate blue. The velvet pile gives the chevron a gentle sheen, so the pattern reads with soft movement rather than sharp contrast.

About this fabric
This velvet is woven in 100% viscose and supplied at approximately 136cm wide, with a vertical repeat of around 3cm and a horizontal repeat of around 34cm. The close pile catches the light softly, letting the blue pattern sit over a warm ivory ground with a slightly brushed, tactile finish. The colourway feels cool and restrained, mixing pale stone, misty blue and a darker indigo line for depth without heaviness. With no performance features noted and a √CM fire code, it is best considered for elegant upholstery where its sheen and small-scale rhythm can be appreciated up close.
How to use it
Use Jerome Blue on a slipper chair, bench or headboard where the pale ground can brighten the room and the blue chevron can add quiet structure. It pairs well with chalk white, weathered oak and soft grey textiles for a fresh, tailored look.
A cool, quiet blue with a crisp chevron rhythm that suits tailored upholstery and relaxed coastal schemes.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jerome Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
