Tyndall Navy

Tyndall Linen FabricF4686-15

Tyndall Navy is a dark, restrained blue with a slightly softened, chalky surface that keeps the shade from reading stark. The plain weave gives it a calm, closely woven look with just enough texture to catch the light.

About this fabric

Woven in 90% linen and 10% polyamide, Tyndall Navy has the natural, lightly textured handle you expect from linen, with a touch of added stability from the polyamide content. The cloth is shown here in a deep blue-black navy that feels cool rather than bright, with a muted finish that softens the colour across the surface. Its plain, even weave sits quietly in the image, and the low-contrast texture helps the shade read as refined and versatile rather than glossy or heavy. With no repeat and an approximate width of 142cm, it is straightforward to use for tailored soft furnishings and clean-lined schemes.

How to use it

This navy works especially well with pale plaster, crisp white, or brushed metal details, where its depth gives a room definition without visual noise. Use it for curtains or upholstery when you want a sober, tailored blue that holds its own in daylight and feels more disciplined than inky black.

A cool, understated navy that works cleanly on seating or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
