About this fabric

The design is formed from dense, small cobalt-blue irregular spots over a pale blue-grey ground, creating a lively pattern with a distinctly cool, saturated tone. The visible weave gives the surface a lightly textured, tactile character rather than a flat printed appearance. At 300 gsm and 140 cm usable width, Arcata Cobalt is a versatile mid-weight textile for both upholstery and drapery, and it is catalogued for outdoor use. Its pattern repeat is 21.5 cm vertically and 36 cm horizontally, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use the strong cobalt tone to sharpen pale stone, white or soft grey schemes, particularly on outdoor seat cushions and occasional upholstery. The small-scale pattern can also add movement to curtains without overwhelming a compact space.
