Alchemy Navy

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy Navy is a deep, cool navy with a softly reflective surface that catches the light across the folds. Its smooth, woven finish gives the colour real depth without looking flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% cotton and 44% polyester, Alchemy Navy has a clean, contemporary handle and a subtle sheen that shifts from inky darks to lighter blue-grey highlights as it moves. The plain 0cm repeat keeps the focus on the colour and texture rather than pattern, making the fabric feel quietly refined. At 140cm wide, it is a practical cloth for made-to-measure schemes where the tone needs to stay rich and consistent. The navy reads cool and saturated, with the drape in the image showing a fluid surface that softens the darkness of the shade.

How to use it

Use this navy to ground pale neutrals, crisp white, or brushed metal finishes, where its cooler depth can add contrast without feeling harsh. It also works well on curtains or accent upholstery when you want a smart, restrained colour that still has presence.

A deep navy with a subtle lustre that suits tailored upholstery and elegant drapery alike.

Pairs well with

Alchemy Navy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
