Koti Outremer

Marsan FabricM4122-03

Koti Outremer is shown here as a richly patterned fabric with a deep navy ground and repeated floral medallions in cream, aqua and green. The contrast is sharp and fresh, with the cooler blue base making the design feel vivid rather than soft.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a dark outremer-navy background with large circular floral motifs in ivory, pale aqua and celadon green, so the pattern reads clearly from a distance. The linen-and-viscose blend gives the surface a refined textile character, while the 5% polyester adds a little practical stability. With an approximate width of 132cm and a repeat of V 64cm half drop / H 88cm, it is a substantial decorative fabric that suits statement schemes. The overall effect is crisp, layered and slightly formal, with the pale details lifting cleanly off the saturated ground.

How to use it

Use it for accent upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains where the navy ground can anchor a room and the lighter motifs can echo painted woodwork or glazed ceramics. It works especially well alongside chalk white, pale stone and cooler greens.

The crisp cream and aqua motifs stand out vividly against the dark ground, giving a tailored decorative look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
