About this fabric

Woven in 70% viscose and 30% linen, Monti Ciel has a refined, slightly slubbed handle that reads crisp but not stiff. The colour is a diluted sky blue with a muted grey cast, so it feels fresh rather than bright, and the surface catches the light with a gentle, silken softness. Its approximate 140cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects, and the small repeat of V 2cm / H 1cm approx is discreet enough to keep the overall effect calm. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM, it is a polished textile choice for interiors that need a light, elegant blue.

How to use it

Pair this cool ciel shade with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed nickel for an airy scheme. It also works well against deeper navy or charcoal accents, where the soft blue ground adds lift without feeling sugary.

Use for tailored upholstery or relaxed drapery where a pale blue linen-viscose ground is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
