Fryett's Fabrics

Troodos Navy

Alchemy Fabric

Troodos Navy is a deep, inky colourway with a subtle striped ground that reads almost tonal at first glance. The fine vertical striations give the surface quiet movement without breaking the dark navy mood.

About this fabric

This Troodos Navy fabric from the Alchemy collection by Fryett's Fabrics is made in a 56% cotton, 44% polyester blend and measures 140cm wide, with a 0cm pattern repeat. The cloth shows slender vertical bands in layered navy and near-black tones, creating a restrained stripe that feels more woven than printed. Its close, slightly textured surface softens the depth of the blue, so the finish looks rich rather than flat. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative and general furnishing use where the colour and texture can take the lead.

How to use it

The dark navy and narrow stripe suit tailored chairs, cushions, and scheme-led blinds, especially alongside pale oak, chalk white, or brushed metal. In a room with clean lines, it brings depth and a measured, smart contrast without feeling loud.

Use for tailored upholstery or structured curtains with a crisp, understated edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
