Troodos Mushroom

Alchemy Fabric

Troodos Mushroom shows a soft mushroom taupe ground with gentle vertical striping and a low-contrast, brushed look. The result is calm and restrained, with just enough movement to keep the surface from reading flat.

About this fabric

This colourway of Troodos has a warm taupe-brown base that sits neatly between beige and mushroom, with paler vertical bands that catch the light softly. The stripe effect is fine and regular rather than bold, giving the fabric a tailored, composed feel. With a 140cm width, 0cm pattern repeat and a composition of 56% cotton and 44% polyester, it is a practical woven textile with a balanced, slightly structured handle. It reads as an easy neutral rather than a cool grey, making it especially useful where depth is needed without strong colour.

How to use it

Use this mushroom tone on a clean-lined chair, banquette or cushions to bring warmth without heaviness. It pairs well with oak, aged brass and soft chalk whites, and the vertical stripe helps add subtle height to smaller pieces.

A quiet neutral with vertical movement that suits tailored upholstery and understated drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Troodos Mushroom without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
