About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, Kensington Moleskin has a practical, easy-to-specify profile for upholstery projects. The surface reads as a deep taupe brown with faint tonal variation, where the fine horizontal texture softens the colour and keeps it from feeling flat. With no pattern repeat, it works as a calm plain option that lets the texture do the visual work. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with enough warmth to sit comfortably in classic or contemporary interiors. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where its muted brown tone can add depth without dominating the room. It also pairs neatly with cream, oak and brushed metal finishes.

Pair with warm woods and textured neutrals for a quietly tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
