About this fabric

This Brodsworth fabric by Fryett's Fabrics is made from 100% polyester and has a 140cm width, with no pattern repeat to consider. In Kensington Ocean, the cloth reads as a muted ocean green with subtle sage and khaki undertones, so the finish feels cool rather than bright. The fine striated texture gives the surface a lightly brushed appearance and adds movement without introducing a printed motif. Its even, non-directional look makes it straightforward to upholster clean-lined furniture where the colour and texture need to do the work.

How to use it

Use this shade to settle a room with natural woods, pale oak and chalky neutrals, where the green can sit quietly without looking flat. It also works well as a grounding accent against crisp white or deeper navy for a sharper, tailored scheme.

A soft, versatile green that brings a calm, tailored finish to seating or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
