About this fabric

This Brodsworth colourway is a 100% polyester fabric with a 140cm width and no pattern repeat, making the gentle woven texture the main visual feature. In the swatch, the Nile Blue tone sits between blue and green with a muted, slightly greyed cast, so it feels fresher than a pure teal but less saturated than a jewel tone. Fine horizontal slubs and subtle tonal variation catch the light across the surface, adding movement without introducing a printed pattern. The result is a versatile cloth that feels composed and contemporary, with enough texture to add interest while staying easy to live with.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, headboard or loose cover where the blue-green tone can sit against pale timber, chalky whites or deeper navy accents. It also works well as relaxed curtains when you want colour that feels cool and airy rather than vivid.

A calm blue-green that works neatly on both tailored upholstery and soft drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
