Chamonix Peppermint

Chamonix Fabric120

Chamonix Peppermint is a fresh, cool teal plain with a softly mottled surface and a lightly brushed look. The colour reads as a gentle peppermint green rather than a bright aqua, giving it a calm, modern feel.

About this fabric

This plain from the Chamonix collection is woven in 62% polyester and 38% cotton, with a heavy domestic usage rating and a Martindale of 35,000, making it a practical choice for everyday interiors. In this colourway, the minty teal tone appears softened and slightly chalky, with subtle tonal shifts across the weave that stop it feeling flat. The close-up texture shows a fine, even cloth surface with a relaxed, tactile finish rather than a glossy one. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available upon request, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ.

How to use it

Use Peppermint to lighten upholstery in contemporary schemes, especially against pale oak, white walls or brushed metal. Its cool green-blue cast also sits nicely with sand, grey and other muted naturals for a fresh but composed palette.

A fresh teal plain that works well on clean-lined seating and simple cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
