About this fabric

This colourway shows a dense steel-grey ground with a slightly heathered cast, where the weave catches the light in fine horizontal flecks. It is composed of 62% polyester and 38% cotton, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test and a heavy domestic usage rating. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ. Its plain design and compact texture make it feel refined and practical rather than decorative.

How to use it

Use Chamonix Steel on sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where a cool neutral is needed to anchor the room. Its restrained blue-grey undertone pairs neatly with pale oak, black metal and crisp white linens.

A cool steel grey that gives clean, tailored depth to contemporary seating.
