About this fabric
This colourway from the Geneva collection by J Brown reads as a cool, muted grey with a faint green cast, softened further by its flecked, looped texture. Woven in 100% polyester, it is specified for Heavy Domestic use and has a durable 45,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for busy interiors. The surface has a casual bouclé-like texture that catches the light irregularly, adding movement to the plain design without introducing pattern. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ by a specialist cleaner used to handling this type of material.
How to use it
Use it on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where you want a calm, contemporary neutral with more tactility than a flat grey. Its soft sage undertone pairs well with pale oak, chalk white and deeper olive accents.
