Kobi Fabric22

Kobi Flint is a cool, grounded grey plain with a tight woven texture and a softly mottled surface. The colour reads as deep flint charcoal, with lighter threads flecking through the weave to add subtle movement.

About this fabric

This colourway of Kobi has a dense, small-scale weave that gives the surface a dry, textural look rather than a smooth finish. The deep grey tone feels cool and understated, with tiny specks of lighter yarn breaking up the colour and keeping it from looking flat. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for heavy domestic use and achieves a 40,000 Martindale rub test, making it well suited to everyday seating. The fabric is supplied back coated to cigarette & match to BS5852, and other treatments are available on request. Professional dry clean in situ is advised, with further care notes available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Flint on a tailored sofa, dining chairs or bench seating where a darker neutral will hide wear and add structure. Its cool charcoal character pairs neatly with pale oak, concrete tones and crisp white accents.

A versatile charcoal-grey plain that gives seating a crisp, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
