About this fabric
Part of J Brown’s Mimosa collection, this plain colourway is made in 100% polyester and specified for Heavy Domestic use, with a Martindale rating of 40,000. The surface has a dry, lightly striated look, where pale and darker grey threads catch the light to create a calm, stone-like effect. Its cool steel tone keeps the fabric understated rather than shiny, making it an easy choice when you want texture without pattern. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care recommends professional dry clean in situ.
How to use it
Use Mimosa Steel on a sofa, accent chair or banquette when you want a disciplined grey that won’t feel flat. It pairs especially well with blackened metal, pale oak and chalky off-whites for a crisp, tailored room.
