About this fabric

This colourway has a pale grey-beige tone with a gentle stone-like warmth, and the surface shows a fine, understated texture that softens the light. As part of the Modena collection, this plain sits within a large range of 92 patterns and is made from 100% polyester for contract use. It carries an 80,000 Martindale rating, making it well suited to demanding seating projects, and it is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. Care is practical too, with professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use Fossil where you want a neutral that feels lighter than charcoal but less crisp than white. It pairs well with oak, putty, taupe and soft black accents in smart commercial or residential seating schemes.
