About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted blue ground with greyed undertones and lighter flecks scattered through the pile, creating a lived-in denim effect across the surface. The plain design is part of J Brown’s Modena collection, which offers 92 colourways, and this shade keeps the look calm and versatile rather than saturated. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and has a Martindale rating of 80,000, making it a robust choice for demanding interiors. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C according to the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Modena Denim on sofas, banquettes or office seating where you want a cooler blue that feels smart but not severe. It pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white and soft grey, and the mottled surface helps soften clean-lined contract furniture.
