Maison Navy

Maison Fabric161

Maison Navy is a deep, inky blue with a soft lustre that catches the light across the nap-like surface. Its dark tone reads polished and moody, with brighter blue highlights appearing where the fabric folds.

About this fabric

This plain from the Maison collection is made from 100% polyester and is specified for Heavy Domestic use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub test for busy seating. The swatch shows a very dark navy base that almost disappears into black in the shadows, while the raised ripples reveal cool blue sheen along the folds. That subtle shine gives the colourway a refined, almost velvet-like depth even though the surface remains plain and closely textured. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is recommended for after care.

How to use it

Use Maison Navy on a sofa, armchair or banquette where its dark blue depth can anchor lighter walls and timber. It pairs especially well with brass accents, pale neutrals and other jewel tones for a smart, tailored scheme.

A dark, reflective navy that brings depth and polish to tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
