About this fabric

This plain fabric has a natural-looking, slightly slubbed weave that reads as warm oat beige with subtle khaki undertones in the folds. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for heavy domestic use and carries an 80,000 Martindale rub test, making it a practical choice for busy interiors. The surface has a quiet dry handle rather than a polished sheen, so the colour feels earthy and grounded rather than bright. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is also available with other treatments on request.

How to use it

Use Maison Hessian on an upholstered sofa, bench or armchair where its muted beige tone can soften sharper architectural lines. It pairs especially well with chalk white, timber, woven accents and muted greens.

A versatile neutral that layers easily with natural woods and softened whites.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
