About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, Maison Dark Olive is specified for heavy domestic use and tested to 80,000 Martindale, making it a practical choice for hardworking seating. The cloth has the look of a smooth, close plain rather than a textured pattern, with a fine surface lustre that catches on the creases and highlights the depth of the olive colour. In this colourway the green note is especially subdued and earthy, sitting closer to dark moss or forest olive than a bright khaki. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is advised.
How to use it
Use this deep olive shade on a sofa, banquette or accent chair where the fabric’s sheen can pick up the light along the piping and seat fronts. It pairs well with warm oak, antique brass and chalky neutrals to keep the room grounded rather than overly dark.
