Geneva Bark from the Geneva collection by J Brown is a plain fabric woven in 100% polyester and specified for heavy domestic use. It has a 45,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for everyday seating and other hard-working upholstered pieces. In this colourway the surface reads as a subdued bark olive with a slightly greyed undertone, so the texture feels natural rather than bright. The tight, softly flecked weave adds visual depth without creating a strong pattern, which keeps the overall effect calm and tailored. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request.

How to use it

Use Bark on sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where you want an earthy neutral that still feels grounded and contemporary. It pairs especially well with timber, aged brass and warm stone finishes.
