About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, this traditional fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test, 140cm width and a substantial 364gsm weight. The small repeat of 1.5cm vertical and 2cm horizontal keeps the herringbone pattern neat and restrained, so the surface feels structured rather than busy. In this colourway, the olive tones are muted and slightly dry rather than bright, with a warm-grey cast that softens the contrast between the yarns. The overall effect is practical and grounded, with enough texture to add interest without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use it on armchairs, banquettes or benches where the small herringbone will read as tailored from a distance. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds in rooms that need an understated olive tone with a traditional finish.
