About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Galatzo Indigo is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test and a 140cm width. The small zigzag motif is tightly set, so the surface feels ordered rather than busy, while the indigo yarns sit against a pale ground to create a crisp, slightly chalky contrast. At 260gsm, it has enough substance to hold shape on seating yet still works beautifully as a curtain fabric where you want clean lines and structure. The traditional character comes through in the restrained weave and the balanced blue-grey palette, which looks more refined than bright.

How to use it

Use Galatzo Indigo on an occasional chair, banquette, or tailored cushion to add pattern without overpowering a room. Its cool blue-grey depth works especially well with natural oak, painted woodwork, and soft white or stone interiors.
