About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Islay Wools collection is a substantial 372 gsm cloth with a usable width of 140 cm, making it well suited to upholstery. The surface shows a fine 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm repeat rendered as a dense micro-check, so the colour reads as a subtle woven texture rather than a bold pattern. Indigo and stone sit close in tone, creating a hushed, slightly weathered blue-grey effect that feels crisp without looking stark. With 27.5 threads per cm, the weave appears tightly controlled and durable, giving the cloth a smart, compact finish.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey on an armchair, ottoman or banquette where you want pattern that stays understated from a distance. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky walls and brushed metal finishes.
